The tick marks on the rear fork are not very accurate in determining the rear wheel alignment. They should be, but they are not. I had to align my rear wheel by revolving the wheel and setting the position so that the belt would track down the center of the pulleys. Of course to do this one must have the cycle on a lift.
Also, another point of mention is to have the front wheel (right fork leg) axle clamp bolt, loose when pumping the forks (also a soft hammer rap, to the fork spread helps at this time of pumping) for alignment and free, non binding position of the parts. Be sure to also tighten this bolt too after alignment is determined.
